The 50th Anniversary of the Kips Bay Decorators Show House in New York welcomed the opportunity for Corey Damen Jenkins & Associates to embrace a whimsical and effervescent motif, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There.

In a restored 1900 townhouse, Corey’s “Looking Glass Dining Room” took visitors on a visual journey where what one sees isn’t quite what they think they see. From the Le Roi Soleil orb chandelier by Baccarat to the Madame de Pompadour wall covering - both in a lush organic mural and its pixelated version on the ceiling - to the custom hand-crafted and applied mint plaster moulding surrounding the space, this dining room captured the imagination and hearts of everyone who visited. A true celebration of global artistry, Corey once again brought to life a timeless design that stretched the boundaries of traditionalism into a thoughtfully balanced, intricately detailed, and one-of-a-kind experience.
