Meet Corey
Corey Damen Jenkins is the Founder and Principal of Corey Damen Jenkins & Associates, an internationally recognized interior design, decoration, and architecture firm based in New York City.
Known for his bold yet timeless approach to color, pattern, and layered detail, Corey Damen Jenkins creates fashion-forward spaces that feel deeply personal, richly composed, and unmistakably refined. His firm has been inducted into Architectural Digest’s prestigious AD100 and ELLE Décor’s A-List.
A proud Metro-Detroit native, Corey began his career in interior design in 1996. Since opening his namesake firm in 2008, he has become a leading voice in luxury interior design—his brand valued as much for his distinct point of view as it is for his craft. Drawing inspiration from haute couture, historic architecture, and global travels, Corey designs interior and exterior spaces that reflect how his clients actually live. From modern retreats in the mountains of Carmel to internet-breaking apartments overlooking Central Park, every project is rooted in what Corey calls “design democracy”— where the client’s personality, lifestyle, and story always come first.
Beyond residential and hospitality projects, the firm’s work extends into licensed collections with some of the industry’s finest legacy brands, as well as education and mentorship. A passionate teacher and advocate, Corey regularly gives lectures at the nation’s top design institutions, and his MasterClass curriculum has been viewed by millions around the globe. He remains deeply involved in charitable and community-based design initiatives, and currently he serves on the Foundational Board of Directors for FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) and the Board of Trustees for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club of New York City.
maximalism
modern
We lift modern maximalism to a different dimension. Our work is guided by balance and intention, creating spaces that honor the past, feel confident in the moment, and transcend trends through a sense of enduring elegance.
Corey Damen Jenkins approaches his interior designs like a music conductor directs an orchestra: merging complex, visual symphonies of colorful hues, pattern play, and historical references into layered spaces that feel expressive yet precisely composed.
